We are Dennis, Angela and Alexandra. We would like to thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We hope that this letter will help you to get to know our family and give you comfort and peace regarding your decision.

We met in high school and dated for almost ten years before taking some time apart. We quickly realized that we were meant to spend the rest of our lives together and got married in September 2004. We enjoy spending time together shopping, at the beach or just watching a movie.

Throughout our many years together, we discussed the possibility of adoption, even before we knew that we would have difficulty conceiving. Dennis, in particular, was pulled toward adoption as he was adopted by his grandparents after birth and then by his step-father many years later. After a year of infertility treatments, we were able to give birth to a daughter, Alexandra ("Alex"). After trying again to have a second child without success, we knew that adoption was the right fit for our family. In particular, we knew that an open adoption was the answer for us.

Angela is a practicing attorney and works four days a week, giving her time to spend with Alex. Angela is a loving and caring mother with a great sense of humor. Angela's parents live only ten minutes away and Angela's mother, Linda, takes care of Alex during the week. Angela enjoys spending time with Alex and Dennis and with her extended family in New Jersey. She likes to play games and laugh. She is extremely dedicated to her family, but also prides herself on doing a good job at work.

Dennis manages a pharmacy and works only minutes from home. His schedule is extremely flexible so that he can spend his afternoons with Alex. Dennis has a way of always finding the good in everyone. He is also an extremely hard working person. He would do anything for anyone who asked him. He is kind and compassionate. He is also extremely charismatic and charming. Dennis is a very dedicated and loyal person. Most importantly, he is a great dad!

Alex is an energetic and loving three year old. She is very excited to be a big sister and often talks about having a brother or sister. She always wants to help around the house and will be of great assistance with a new baby. She attends pre-school two days a week and loves playing with her friends. She is always eager to please. We know she will be thrilled to share her life with a sibling and be happy to accept new people in her life.

We are both lucky to have extremely loving families to help and support us in our decisions and in raising our family. They are excited about the addition of another little one to their bunch.

We know that a simple letter cannot express the love and happiness that we share as a family, but we hope that you know how committed we are to being wonderful parents and giving a child a happy, warm, loving home where he or she can grow and know that they are loved not only by us, but by their birth parents.
