A gathering for families who have adopted African American children (all ages) to share experiences and knowledge and provide mutual support. Families Like Ours (FLO) believes honoring our children’s African American heritage is imperative to helping them develop a positive self-identity. FLO is committed to strengthening multiracial/multicultural families by providing a network of education, resources, socialization, and support to trans-racially adopted children, their siblings and parents.
