Baby Care Basics

We will also learn about newborn appearance and characteristics, choosing a pediatrician, crib and car seat safety.
Facilitator: Susan Slear, RN, CCE, CHBE, IBCLC
Susan Slear is an RN, a Certified Childbirth Educator (CCE), Certified Happiest Baby Educator (CHBE), and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She provides research-based information, recommendations, support and referrals. In addition to 10+ years experience teaching Childbirth, Breastfeeding, Infant Care and now, Happiest Baby On The Block, at the busiest (and best) maternity hospital in Philadelphia, she also gained valuable experience by raising 6 children.
$25.00 fee for families who are not yet affiliated with Open Arms.
