Open Arms Adoption Network is proud to facilitate child- centered open adoption services in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Through our domestic infant adoption program, Open Arms offers support and guidance for all those touched by adoption. Open Arms' services to families adopting domestically include:
- Free information meetings held three times a month in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
- Private pre-adoption counseling sessions
- Through the Life-Long Learning Institute, we offer educational and support group sessions for your adoption process now and for your family's lifetime
- Mentorship opportunities with adoptive families who enjoy offering support
- Guidance through the home study process
- Assistance in creating an Adoptive Family Profile to be shown to expectant parents considering adoption
- Facilitation of meetings with the expectant parents who choose you to adopt their baby
- Support and guidance throughout the hospital experience
- Preparation and facilitation of all legal documents required to adopt
- Post-placement supervision/reports until finalization of the adoption (6-9 months) as required by New Jersey and Pennsylvania law.
- Assistance with securing legal services to finalize adoption
- Guidance in your relationship with your child’s birth parents and mediation services to reconnect you with the birth parents if necessary.
