Philadelphia, PA and International Adoption Agency Staff

Meet the Staff

My name is Meredith Rose and I am the Director of Open Arms Adoption Network. Working with the staff and birth and adoptive families of Open Arms is an honor and pleasure that I feel grateful for each day. I am the mother of two. My first child joined our family through birth and my second child joined our family through adoption. We are twelve years into a wonderful open adoption with my daughter's birth family and we are all so pleased to be connected in a relationship that our daughter enjoys so much. I have been working with families in the field of social work for 23 years and happily found my place in adoption 15 years ago. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work and a Master's Degree in Public Health (Maternal and Child Health) from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Hi, my name is Erica T. Davis and I am the Domestic Adoption Program Manager at Open Arms Adoption. In addition to my management responsibilities, I also provide services to expectant women and prospective adoptive families. I attended Southern University at New Orleans where I earned a Master's degree in Social Work. I have worked as a social worker and as a program director in both domestic and international adoption for more than a decade. Prior to working in the area of adoption, I worked in the fields of end-of-life care and non-profit program development.

My name is Michelle Figueroa and I have worked in the field of adoption for the last 10 years. I have been working with Open Arms Adoption Network for 6 years in the domestic, infant open adoption program. Currently, I am the Outreach Assistant/Trainer. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Family and Community Services from the University of Delaware, as well as a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. I enjoy working with Open Arms Adoption Network because it is, at its foundation, an educationally based program for birth parents, adoptive parents and healthcare professionals alike.

Hello!  My name is Michele LeMasney, and I am the Adoptive Family Support & Training Coordinator here at Open Arms.  I coordinate all of our workshops and events for our families as well as our outreach and educational trainings for medical and social work professionals who work with those who are facing unplanned pregnancies.  I also facilitate our monthly “Coffee Talk” sessions and work supporting our families individually as they navigate all areas of the adoption process.  Adoption greatly encompasses my life as I am an adopted individual as well as an adoptive parent.   I am a mom to five children, two of whom joined our family though open adoption!  I have been with Open Arms for just over 3 1/2 years now and am passionate about adoption.  I feel truly blessed to be able to do work in a field that I love and enjoy so much!

My name is Jenny Sved and I recently joined Open Arms Adoption Network as Outreach Coordinator. I have been in the nonprofit sector since I graduated from Yeshiva University with a BA in English Communications in 2007. Post-graduation, I was responsible for the marketing efforts at the Office of Alumni Affairs at Yeshiva. I then moved to the Philadelphia area to begin a Student Activities position at a small high school where I served as a mentor for teens and planned extracurricular activities.  I am thrilled to have entered the world of Adoption, as it is an incredible journey for families that I look forward to being a part of.
